About Me
I am a father of two boys and software engineer living in the New York City area. I'm a proud graduate of Western Carolina University who's been in the software industry since 2013. Beginning with .NET development, I quickly jumped to J2EE on Spring and Struts, Python and Perl, and SOA development at Red Hat.
I eventually branched into Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, as well as myriad other web technologies and frameworks. I currently work on full-stack anomaly detection in big data at Cigna, working in a JS stack, AWS, and Golang.
In my spare time, I work to encourage and support new developers on their journey to break into our industry.
